Why launch an active ETF?

More fund managers than ever before are launching active ETFs in response to investor demand. Over the last nine years assets under management held by ETFs have ballooned from USD 54 billion in 2015 to a record high of USD 691 billion in 2023, according to data from Trackinsight.
